Speed Braces

Why we think our braces are Better!

Treatment time is 10-50% faster than with other braces. Most patients finish in less than a year. SPEED braces are up to three times smaller than standard braces. Not only are these braces more aesthetic, the small size also makes them more comfortable and hygienic. Treatment time is often reduced by SPEED braces. This is due to continuous light force provided by the SPEED brace's spring clip.

Dr. Berg is currently the only orthodontist in Utah Valley to use Speed Braces!

Invisalign

Invisalign is an innovative technology which provides a very aesthetic alternative to traditional braces; however, it is limited to adult patients with mild crowding and/or spacing between their teeth. Call our office to schedule a free Invisalign consultation.

What is Invisalign?
Will it work for me?

Orthodontic Friendly Foods

HARD & STICKY FOODS MAY HARM YOUR BRACES

HARD & STICKY FOODS may do damage by breaking off the brackets and tubes, bending wires, and loosening bands. Each breakage will add two months to the patients treatment time. So eat right and be careful, if you want your braces off quickly!

Do Not Eat:

  • Popcorn
  • Nuts
  • Ice
  • Hard candy
  • Taffy
  • Caramels
  • Bubble gum
  • Or any other hard or sticky foods

You may eat the following foods, but cut them into pieces and do not bite into them whole: Carrots, Apples, Celery, Corn, Pizza, Bread and Tortilla chips.

Remember!
Be Careful! A careful orthodontic patient can eat most foods without damaging their braces. If something becomes loose or broken for any reason, please call as soon as possible, so we can set aside enough time to give you the care that you require.

Last but not least....always brush after eating!

Cleaning Tips

Keeping your teeth clean during orthodontics will help you have a beautiful smile when you're braces come off.

When patients don't brush their teeth every day during orthodontics they often get stains and permanent decalcifications (White Spots).

Make your teeth look and feel their best! Brush after every meal and floss once a day.
